Custom Cam allows you to take full control of your iPhone's camera. The app offers options such as switching between full manual mode, automatic shutter speed or ISO mode, and full auto mode. Additionally, Custom Cam introduces a 3D Touch shutter button, simulating the half-press feature found in traditional cameras.

New enhancements in Custom Cam include support for the second lens on the iPhone 7+. Moreover, users can now customize function buttons by a long press, similar to organizing icons on the homescreen.

Additional features of Custom Cam include manual, auto, and face detect focus settings; an intuitive swipe-based system for adjusting shutter speed, ISO, focus, white balance, and exposure compensation; a light-meter for familiar manual mode users; two assignable on-screen buttons; and the ability to capture RAW DNG files on compatible iPhone models.

The 3D Touch shutter button enables users to lock focus and exposure with a half-press - easily achieved by pressing deeper to take a picture. Users can configure on-screen buttons for various functions including the 3D Touch shutter button, focus lock button, exposure lock button, or a traditional shutter button. Alternatively, one can choose to have a cleaner user interface by turning off the second button.

Camera settings adjustments in Custom Cam can be made through a intuitive set of swipe gestures. For instance, in landscape orientation, users can swipe left or right across the screen on the ISO label side to change the ISO value. For more guidance on available gesture controls, users can access detailed instructions by tapping the in-app help button.

Custom Cam is compatible with all iPhones running iOS 10 or later.
